The Seal Cub Clubbing Club is now an inquisitive four-and-a-half year old and is finally ready to put some serious sentences together... thus Jack To Phono Records will release their debut album, Super Science Fiction in March 2009. The album is produced by super-producer Barney (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, the Enemy) and mixes all of the various influences, from Greene to Stanshall, Drucker to Down.

The years have been kind in so many ways, tours with British Sea Power, Idiot Pilot, Field Music and Black Wire and recent shows at Glastonbury Festival, and with The Fall, The Rascals and Elle S’Appelle have given them the chance to hone their performance into a submarine-shaped slice of aerodynamica... We also run a Book Club, where fans can take away classic works of literature, in return for a promise that they would read their book, and bring one of their own to add to the library...
